Review on Heavy-Duty Prefilled Patio Umbrella Base By FRUITEAM - 22Lbs Assembly With 17.5" Round Weight Base And 2022 New Pole Holder For Market Table, Yard, Garden, Deck, And Porch by Enoch Sahay

Definitely NOT for offset/cantilever umbrellas, but good for regular umbrellas

This 22 pound patio umbrella base looks nice and when paired with a patio table, offers good stability for a smaller umbrella. I would not use such a light weight with a free-standing umbrella, and I would definitely not use with any sort of offset or cantilever umbrella. This weight is fairly small, and should only be used with a regular patio umbrella. There are two other reviews that mention using this base with a cantilever or offset umbrella, and I'm pretty baffled why they would make such claims. 22 pounds is not nearly enough for a 10 foot cantilever/offset. I doubt my cantilever umbrella would even remain upright with just 22 pounds at the base. Imagine having an infant hold down a 10 foot diameter parachute on a breezy day!
