Super soft and well made. The fabric is soft to the touch and never gets hot or cold (Southern California doesn't have air conditioning at night). All in all this is a nice blanket. My only complaint is that the queen size seems too small for a queen. The description says full/queen. but to be honest I think it should have been complete. It covers the mattress and hangs down the sides about 6-10 inches. If you have a queen-size mattress, I highly recommend going up one size to king. I would return it for a king but the color I ordered (burgundy/grey) is out of stock in that size. If they ever add this color to a king bed I will have it in a heartbeat because it really is a beautiful blanket. Update: After washing a few times I noticed that parts of the upholstery seem to be trying to come out. out from under the covers. It looks like white fluff, but if you try to tear it off, you can tell it's stuffing. Pulling the filling back into the duvet while holding the fabric with your other hand fixes this, but it's a recurring problem. Docking one star from my original 4 rating due to a lint issue.
