Works great
My wife wanted me to plug in our old Wii console so our grandkids could play when they were over. Unfortunately, the wall-mounted TV she wanted to use didn't have a composite video cable, and I didn't want to use the Wii's standard composite video cable and expose it (nor did I want to open the wall again). I wasn't expecting much from this adapter but it works exactly as I hoped it would. Plug it into your Wii, connect it to your TV with an HDMI cable, and you're done. It does not require an external power supply.
