I was looking for a nice small set of lights for a 4 foot tree I got this year. Local stores were slim pickings and a lot of what you find are either way too short, way too long, or C9 style bulbs when looking for a 20 to 30 foot set. One of the key features I wanted were color changing controllable lights as well, and good luck finding those in a small set.Enter these gems. I had no intention of using them outside and I wouldn’t suggest them for that. To many open areas for water in the plug etc. these are USB powered. You can change the mode with a button on the plug or have MANY options using the included remote. The remote itself is very cheap, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not trying to control a TV here, they’re Christmas lights. It works just fine.Finally, to the colors, I really like these! My favorite mode is to set them up for color cycling slowly to enjoy them all but wow you can really set a wide range of colors! The hues of them all are vibrant and noticeable. Please be aware: if you have a preference to incandescent and do NOT like LED shades and hues, these are not for you! Otherwise, buy away!I would wait for the sale prices, I got mine at 15 dollars a set and that would be the max I’d pay for them. Definitely worth it at that price. Closer to the normal 30 dollar price and I think you might feel the quality to dollar ratio doesn’t exist.
