Flawed and Dangerous!

Plugging in my NEW Mac Mini, two monitors and two backup hard drives, I suddenly hear a "humming and then static noise, followed by the smell of burning electricity in my room. Totally disappointed in this product and praying it doesn't damage all my gear. I've never had a problem with splinters in my life. The return is not enough at the moment. Completely dangerous for my home and PC components.
