I prefer crispy, cool pillowcases to super soft microfiber pillowcases that not only overheat but also absorb every speck of dust, dog hair, dander and every other allergen you can think of be able . These cotton covers are much more comfortable and don't get too hot and also stand up to washing. And for the price I was able to get enough drawers to put on the bed while the dirty ones were in the laundry room. I usually prefer a higher thread count than these pillowcases, but for the price I have no complaints at all. They're comfortable and keep you cool - even in Arizona - and won't cling to every tiny particle that accidentally swims by!
