Normal quality, you can use it.

It's been more than a year since I bought a subject. lately I have not used it very often, tk. acquired 35 1.4. And I already wanted to sell "poltos", but . my hand did not rise. Well, let's start in order: 1) the most important thing is autofocus. not very tenacious, 50/50 misses. refocusing when the button is pressed again, even if the camera and subject were completely still. 2) optics. quality fluctuates. for example, my friend on aperture 1.4 was very soapy. but I was lucky, maybe the stars converged, but I have a sharp enough 1.4 bunnies catches weakly and they do not strain at all. 3) constructive so-so. many here write that a flimsy proboscis. I have never broken down. I bought a hood for protection, I don’t drop it on the floor, everything works) dust may get inside the lens. one jumped up to me. does not affect image quality in any way. I noticed it by chance while cleaning. Since then I have kept the port in a clean case behind glass. 4) as for such a thing as boke, then everyone decides for himself whether he likes it or not. some people write that it is flickering, "cheap". my friend photographer could not distinguish 50 mm 1.2 from 50 mm 1.4. optical schemes are identical, the difference is in glass grades and assembly) I’ll say on my own that the bokeh suited me on the crop, but as I switched to mark2, it sometimes doesn’t look very nice at the very edges of the frame. 5) versatility! probably, every self-respecting photographer should have a 50 mm fix. 6) price. is high now and it is no longer a fact that it is worth the money. two years later. the plastic coating of the lenses makes itself felt. over time, it deforms, fades. the lens loses sharpness and light transmission. sold. my photos can be seen here: alexeyplatonov.
