The price is appropriate for the quality offered, as it is not overly pricey and possesses a high degree of practicality. Even if you make sure everything is in working order with the battery before you buy it, it does not appear like the battery will survive very long when it is put through strenuous use. It's true, and the same can be said for practically any new phones that fall inside this price range. It was a long time ago that I took it, but as of the year 2022, you should be able to afford anything more substantial. Below are some advantages: The phone is good in and of itself; the form factor is convenient; it is huge, but not excessively so; it is not a shovel; and most significantly, it is not very wide. Because I don't play games on it, I use it for communication; thus, I think the performance is more than adequate. Several instant messengers go at once, and the Internet / music does not create any difficulties - yes, I have to point out that with a current phone, it generally catches the network; however, this one catches the network. A previous iteration of Xiaomi was known as the junior version. MIUI sync performed flawlessly, and all of the essential data was successfully transferred to the new phone. It provides the option to disable some of the pre-installed applications; however, there are not too many of them to begin with, so there is, in essence, no need to rut. The app for optimization works extremely well; it disables anything that isn't necessary, and it cleans the rubbish in an honest and thorough manner. The camera more than met my needs; although I don't use it religiously, I find that the photographs it produces are generally pleasing. In general, practically everything delivers satisfactory value for what it costs. There is even a scanner for your fingerprints! Below are some downsides: The battery has a capacity of less than 4000 mAh, but for some reason it needs to be charged constantly. If you charge it in the evening, by the next evening you will need to charge it once again, despite the fact that it was only used very little. It's possible that I purchased it from another store; I'm not sure. There is a strong possibility that the battery ran out because the phone was left unused for a significant amount of time prior to the sale. To put it another way, if the battery could be removed, you could immediately replace it. However, because it is permanently attached to the device, this is not an option. I improved the performance of the previous Xiaomi by replacing the battery, but the difference was not that significant. They also mentioned to me that they heard a bit worse on the new Xiaomi Redmi 2 compared to the previous model, although I should note that this criticism came from a very particular individual. The brightness of the screen is not controlled very intelligently by this firmware when it is set to the "auto" mode; it leaves it rather bright, and you have to turn it down; nonetheless, these are normally inconsequential details.
