I used to handle body piercing jewelry at a store I managed and still have jewelry sizer to check all my jewelry. These are cute but no matter how you turn them, the center is not 1/2." These are just right about at 7/16" and the flare (which should be bigger than 1/2" to hold in place, is just about a 1/2"). I don't want my lobes to shrink.and mine always do when I put smaller gauges in. This is not a proper 1/2" ear tunnel. Even taking the heart shape into consideration. There is no point, other than the flare where it is 1/2" and the center should be closer to 1/2" not 7/16". Cute product and cool if you don't mind restretching your ear lobes after wearing these for awhile unless you put weights through them to pull them down, but then they just fall out.
