Review on Dustproof Waterproof πŸ”’ Universal Electrical Enclosure 125X86X62Mm by James Roper

Does the job, looks good

I am satisfied. I got the smallest and it was big enough to hold two ethernet cable glands. If you do, I recommend using the long side to adjust. It doesn't have a gasket, but it seems fairly weatherproof, and from what I've read you don't want it to be fully waterproof as water can condense inside and you'll have to drill a drain hole or two at the bottom to keep that seeping in water can escape. Instead of using a screwdriver to cut out the knockout holes as recommended, I used a hole saw and then opened them up slightly to fit the 20mm cable glands with a step drill. This worked well, but also means "knockouts" aren't really needed, except for the centering suggestions. I screwed it to my stucco house with Tapcon screws and caulked around the hole. The screws are made of stainless steel.

Pros
  • Self-made opening hole design seals the waterproof box for the project pretty well. Up to 9 holes can be distributed on 4 sides and the bottom of the waterproof box. You can make holes according to your needs.
Cons
