This is a purchase kit. I tried the Metra and its fit and finish is a far cry from the quality of this one. Yes, it's $50, but it's also 98% the original factory look. No painting required and the mounting brackets are metal just like the factory brackets. The front panel, unlike gauges, is bolted directly to it and to the radio as a whole. After purchasing both plus an unfamiliar brand here at Revain, if you want to get it right the first time, simply buy this kit. As mentioned in other reviews, the top pops out as the clips are slightly smaller when placed next to the factory clips. Reuse the factory clips or purchase new ones to prevent the top of the bezel from popping out. I would definitely buy it again. I will post some photos of the finished product. Much luck
