Short story: ordered to connect a 5.5 inch external monitor to a DSLR video camera. The first few _days_ seemed to work. Then, 3-4 days, the video signal started dropping. Then, in less than a week, the cable was completely dead - no signal cable was damaged - didn't twitch or twitch - and there were no crashes. I confirmed that the DSLR mini-HDMI and external monitor connections weren't 'caused' - when I connected the standard 1 meter mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, everything worked fine. Sweet twisted cable. Any cable that dies in less than 2 hours of cumulative use - all neat and all indoors - may not be a product I would recommend. I would suggest avoiding this and looking elsewhere. Much luck.
