Not sure. the best headphones

The Bluetooth works comfortably, the range is decent (impressive at times). But I have serious problems with it. I'm not sure if I have a lemon or if everyone has them, but these are my problems: (1) The phone works of course, but I often have an annoying delay in speaking/receiving a signal during a phone call. I know there are a number of factors that contribute to this, but I've noticed it more with these headphones than with my previous wired headphones. I'm in the middle of a major city in the US speaking to a major cellular carrier, so I draw even more conclusions about these latency-inducing headphones. I should mention that these are the first pair of Bluetooth headphones with a mic that I've used in the past few years. (2) The sound quality is disgusting to me. I currently have Bluetooth headphones without a mic (for sports) which cost me the same as these but they sound amazing in comparison. I use Panasonic $9 wired headphones with a mic and they sound very good compared to these headphones. These headphones don't have the bass to play mid-range songs. It's not clear in the EQ balance manual if it can equalize more accurately, but it does tell you how to switch between 3 settings. I find that I flatten out a lot from track to track, otherwise I have bad treble/bass static. annoys. (3) Not really a big deal, but the wires look silly looping it off your neck and into your ears. The wires hanging around the necklace might bother some people, it didn't bother me as it looked like a thorn. i have black I'm pretty sure the headphones I received were real and not fake. I'm looking for signs I really wanted to like them, but I have to admit that I regret this purchase. Didn't send back because I confidently ripped the box open so no comment on customer service. Note to people: do not tear the box. Try them before you leave yourself. Hear your whispering eye
