I love the printed shirts and my daughter loves them too. They're lightweight and add modesty to leggings, so I decided to buy a pair of solid color shirts. The first thing I noticed was that the material seems to be just cotton, while the patterned shirts are made from a cotton blend and are therefore stretchy. I don't remember if it was mentioned in the description. Sizes also vary, with unprinted shirts fitting smaller and having little to no stretch. I would suggest ordering a size up if you want the same fit as patterned shirts. Since the shirts are quite large, I decided to keep them even though they were a bit smaller in the same size.
