I bought these to replace an inverter that has failed on some aftermarket headlights. I still have one as a backup. They arrived quickly, undamaged and as described. The inverters were much smaller than those they replaced. I installed last night (3/16/16). My aftermarket lights were hardwired to the inverters, so I had to cut the wires and solder on replacement inverters. The cables from the inverter to the headlights are very short, but I was still able to solder them. The question I and everyone else has is will they last? I installed my headlights in January and one failed within a month and the other just failed. From what I understand, inverters often fail and fail. Of course, I don't want to replace the inverters every month, so I hope they last a long time. I will provide an update on the durability of these inverters. ** UPDATE ** As of 06.09.16 the inverters are still working. So I'm wondering if they fail at low temperatures as my failures occurred in somewhat cold weather. Seems to be a worthy replacement.
