I love this lens! I had no problem turning off my Nikon Cool Pix P 900 with this lens. I have a 67mm protection lens between this lens on my original camera lens and maybe that's enough to turn the camera off without this lens interfering. switched off with it. I also use a sun filter over it to take photos of the sun. Also, I use it for moon stars, planets, etc. I love it and recommend it.
