Review on 🔳 ColdPruf Basic Layer Black Bottom by Matthew Watkins

First off, let me say that I own several ColdPruf Platinum long sleeve shirts and love them - they're my best cold weather base layer. I was hoping that these pants would match my bottoms as well :) Based on my experience with shirts I knew the size might be a bit big so I ordered S and M (I usually wear a medium size, pant size 32 ) - like and expected, M was huge - I could fit two pant legs in one pant leg. This rules out any possibility of providing decent protection from the cold as the base layer needs to be fairly dense. In addition, the ankle cuffs were made of a rather inelastic material and were difficult to put on. Size S is a bit loose, but could fit. Also, they were a bit short (and I'm not very tall, only 5ft 7in). Worst of all, the cuffs were so small that it was very difficult for me to get my legs through and I almost tore one trying to take them off. I'm not a tall guy and my foot size is "narrow". I can't imagine a normal sized person could actually wear them unless that person is disproportionately short, chubby and has tiny baby feet. Because of this, I really cannot recommend this product to anyone. If the manufacturer is reading this - please measure on real people, adjust the size and use the appropriate cuff elastic. Too bad - had high hopes for this product.
