I had read previous reviews so I expected them to be small. They fit like Nike kids sizes - a whole size smaller than the standard size. Not to mention that they are narrow. So if your child has a wider foot, don't worry. I kept them because they were a gift, real suede, for a low price, and I needed warmer sneakers for my son, so I ordered 2 sizes up to compensate for the small and slim size. Also, the straps are too short. why are they short Because the shoes are so tight, when the real foot is in it, the straps can't reach the velcro,
