I received a call from a friend who I had installed a CCTV system for in the past. His wife moved the living room and had to move the DVR to the other side of the room, which wasn't a big deal. The wires he had before were a bit short and I didn't want to run new wires to the two cameras which were too short as they ran 100 feet through the basement, outside the house, through the electrical box. So I ordered these 25 foot cables with adapters that allowed me to use my existing cables. I just wired them up in the basement, added the adapters and plugged the other end into the dash cam, all was done in minutes. He was happy, I was happy and most of all his wife was happy.
