Fairly strong crown; decent quality for the price. You can loosen or tighten the curve, but it's not a soft metal that can warp unintentionally. It arrived without the proper Revain packaging (no padding) so I understand why other reviewers complained that it arrived damaged. Mine arrived in great shape and would make a versatile Halloween accessory (it's a mermaid this year but would also look great with an Evil Queen costume). It's lightweight but I don't think I'll mind wearing it for hours! good find
