This is NOT the easiest to service model
I have an old similar bottle that you can't pull the cap off completely. This one has a two-tone lid, but no lid mechanism that allows for complete disassembly. Visit the system's website for the best lid mechanism. It's not like this! My older one has mold between the lid slide mechanism and this one will too! I do not recommend it at all! Shame because it's the perfect size and doesn't leak.
