Both batteries were empty upon delivery. You could not pass the function test. The first row of AA batteries were not connected. Either the case was made to the wrong specifications (too long) or the terminals were improperly placed on the bottom of the case. I was able to get the batteries working with a small screwdriver and pry off the clip on the bottom of the case. so that the batteries in this row are in contact. Also, the battery pack is difficult to remove once attached to the radio, I had to use the same screwdriver to pry it out of the radio. Luckily I was able to remove the battery. batch work. However, it was not manufactured correctly and did not work immediately. Since I had to change it to make it work, I give at least 1 star. else It should be zero stars (if it can get zero). At least I didn't have to return the item.
