I have a used 2005 BMW Z4 with a key. For a $12 investment, I didn't feel like I was losing much by trying them out. I was able to easily program the keys to my doors, trunk and power. The local locksmith was able to cut the keys, after which I was able to sync the keys to my original Bimmer key. Update November 9, 2018: Keys won't start car. I'll update this review when I figure out how to get it working. To be clear, they work like a remote control, but once the keys are cut off, they won't start the car. Hence the downgrading of my rating.
