Rectangular adapter in the first photo is a MUST if you want to use the iPad Pro on a stand in a vertical orientation when it's on - I just haven't come across an alternative. Shown is a Rain Design mStand Plus tablet with a 2020 12.9-inch iPad Pro in a Smart Folio. None of the USB-C cables I've tried fit any other way. The rectangular adapter in the second photo is a MUST if you plan to use the iPad Pro on the wedge stand for drawing or note-taking and don't want the cable draping over your mouse pad if you're right-handed, or your Magic Trackpad if you're left-handed and the use dual mouse and trackpad configuration. gives power - but there is no such thing. The Logitech Base was basically a great idea a few years ago, but it has nothing to do with the current iPad range. I wish I could just take my iPad out of the Smart Folio and set it on a stand that charges it, but for some reason that's not currently the case. The third photo is probably the best iPad stand out there.
