Good idea to work on

I wore this on my 11 mile half marathon training run. I like to have my phone with wired headphones for music, cough drops for dry mouth as I don't want to carry around water, tissues and keys. Once you put it on and go, it's great. You almost don't feel like you're wearing it. Then I needed cough drops. It wasn't easy getting under it and getting in to access it. I ended up having to stop to get rid of the cough. After that I had to correct the belt as it had shifted. The same story with fabric. I took off my gloves, rolled them up and they fit. But I felt her. My mistake was rolling them up instead of trying to lay them as flat as possible (can't get them completely flat). When I'm carrying a fanny pack or running belt, I'm not just carrying the essentials. It also serves to get things in the middle of what I'm doing. If I wanted it to be takeout only and no access, that would work. I've worn fanny packs to amusement parks and on the zip line. And I still prefer a fanny pack because I don't have to stop what I'm doing to get what I need. The only thing it has compared to a fanny pack is that it doesn't rebound when you run and it's not that bulky. The strap may slip while running. Also, unused cough drops stuck to the paper as the belt sweated. Lesson learned: use a plastic bag. But that would be another step as I would have to undo the strap, take out the bag, open the bag, put it away, fold the strap back and adjust again. Too much work trying to walk.
