I make some 1 1/2" wide belts out of thick (11-12 oz) leather that I use counter-clockwise. I needed stylish buckles that would allow the wearer to tighten these thicker leather belts snugly , and the roller buckles fit. I bought the antique brass buckles and the antique nickel buckles. The finishes of both are very good quality and I love the knurled roller design. The roller not only helps you tighten the belt and reduce drag ( leather vs solid buckle) but also protects the finish of the belt itself Aged brass looks great with a brown belt and antique nickel looks great with a black belt Choose for my projects They are very good quality and I will Definitely buying these buckles again for future projects!
