Update: I can admit when I'm wrong. So here's another update. Mine are fine. My AirTag stayed in the suitcase, but recently my wife said her device "failed". Luckily it fell out of the bag. I can assume it popped out by some kind of pressure, it shouldn't have happened anyway so I'll have to deduct the 3 stars unfortunately. I hate being so harsh, but it's definitely not good if they can fall out of the case. It's losing your AirTag right here. It looks like a slight redesign is needed in this case, maybe a harder or denser silicone? I thought about returning mine but, um, annoying. I'll most likely wear them over something that doesn't travel outside the home (my cats? my remote control? etc.) Update: 10 days and still good. My wife puts her keys in her bag, I put mine in my shirt or pants pocket. When we get home the keys are (maybe) hanging on the wall. So far the device hasn't been dropped once but I still advise her to be more careful and I'm being careful myself as I read at least 1 review here about it coming out of the case. I'll report back if anything changes. The protective case feels durable. I see no reason to complain and nothing bad to say about it. It flexes easily like silicone, but doesn't look like it will let the air tag fall out. The manufacturer has included a protective plastic cover to avoid scratching the 'face', apparently it absorbs scratches easily. The application was uncomplicated. The key ring/fob is designed to be easy to put on, but I like the ones that are difficult to remove (loops that need to be untied and pushed through etc.), this is personal preference. I have a feeling this hinge is subject to wear and tear due to the nature of the design, but I could be wrong. Anyway, it won't take me too long. The only issues I can foresee are durability and color fastness, but only time will/can tell. For now, I recommend this case.
