I can't compare to anything else but all these sidepods to choose from don't come cheap. It was a pretty low price compared to him, so I feel good about him. , but still. an investment in what I wanted it for. I was looking for a place to put my DIY electric bikes. There's just nothing good out there so I tried them as battery storage, controllers in this design. I think it works and looks ok. A few compliments. They arrive beautifully. Shiny black. Light works as it should. There are enough holes for wiring. I can't tell you how they fit on the bike but there is room for length adjustment and the brackets are solid metal. The downside is that the plastic isn't very durable. For example, hammering a nail into the board will not be difficult. Or even use some cutters to cut them off. However, they scratch easily. Be careful. Another issue is that the locks work well as a reasonable key and lock system but not solid security. On a bumpy level crossing, the cover may even slide to unlock.
