This restriction is nonsense. It broke when my dog was tied up in the car and when I opened the car door it made him jump into the parking lot. If you care about your pet's life, don't buy this restraint. Spend a little more and get better quality. A 60-pound dog shouldn't rip through the fabric like it should through wet pasta.
