Review on 🖼️ My Barnwood Frames: Handcrafted 3-Pack of Reclaimed Barn Wood Frames, Hanging on Burlap Ribbon - USA Made (Landscape-Portrait-Landscape) by Jason Kovak

Nice gift frame, overpriced

I bought this frame to hang 3 photos of my baby as gifts for her grandparents. I love that it's made in the USA and made from recycled barn. However, as other reviewers have said, the price is a bit steep. The quality is good, but not outstanding. All the woods match and look beautiful. The back is cardboard, which I don't think matters because who's going to see it? One of the pieces of glass had an odd edge, like it wasn't a clean cut. Again, not a big deal as it's completely invisible once the images are in place. What really bothered me was that after all the photos were inserted and secured, tiny bits of wood and bits of hanging material were trapped between the glass and the photos. I had to take them all out, clean them and put them back in. And as other reviewers have pointed out, landscapes with hanging material in the way are difficult to manoeuvre. It's also a little sensitive, so it's kind of a pain. When the glass was clean and the photos were in place I was very pleased. It looks very nice. Other reviews mentioned that the suspension material ripped but I had no problems and this part looked very good too. Grandma and Grandpa really liked their gift and Grandma carried it around the house to show everyone. I'm really glad I got it and didn't skimp on my local chain of crafts and baguettes like I almost did. They didn't have real wood frames and nothing close to what I wanted with these 5x7s mated together. In general, the purchase succeeds, only the price is a bit high. I think 40€ is reasonable.
