Causes fire: extension cord

This extension cord was so cute it made me happy because my favorite color is pink and I've never seen pink before. It worked fantastic for the first month or so, but after that I noticed some discoloration on the power strip terminals, which ended up causing a small fire. I woke up one morning to the smoke coming out of the chord and the part you plug your devices into was completely black and melted! A total security risk and I wouldn't advise anyone to buy one as they plan on connecting more than one device to it.

Pros

safety. Snap-lock safety sockets protect you from electric shock when the sockets are not in use. Do not connect more than 1625 watts of power to this cord
