This is a reasonably priced lamp that can be mounted on a MacBookPro and/or LG external monitor. I tried using a ring light on a stand but it was taking up too much space on my desk. It also provided uneven lighting because I used it at an angle. The device itself is small (2.5 x 2.5 inches) and lightweight. The suction cup worked very well on my MacBook Pro and on the back of my LG monitor. As can be seen in the photos, I adjusted it slightly off-center so the light doesn't interfere with the LG light meter and the suction cup isn't over the LG logo. I've read some other reviews that say the suction cup falls off - that wasn't a problem for me. It has a very simple interface. You can adjust the light from 1 to 100% as well as the "warmth" of the light. I am currently using 50% light at 4200k with the diffuser on. The light itself isn't that bright that it's distracting and as can be seen in the photos it really helps brighten up your face. . A USB-C to USB-C cable was also included. Good product that I definitely recommend.
