Reasonable sphygmomanometer for home non-clinical use, but stethoscope requires posting review

This sphygmomanometer is reasonable quality for intermittent, non-clinical use, but one would have to compare readings with a rated sphygmomanometer to be sure. Also, the quality of the reading depends on the skill of the user, so correct, consistent usage and a good deal of practice are to your benefit. Using a manual sphygmomanometer like this can be awkward at first, and learning to listen for the pulse through the stethoscope requires some experience. In this way, this manual sphygmomanometer is like any other. Note: the single-head stethoscope that comes with this kit is >>not<< in the package you first receive. Instead, you get a note that asks you to leave a review before requesting Paramed to send you the free stethoscope. Take this extra time into account if ordering for a time-critical application. This kind of thing seems more common everyday.
