Review on Cryopak Hard Shell Ice Packs by Charles Dean

Based on my observations, these ice packs were much too heavy and difficult to pack for camping. The hard shell was inconvenient and took up too much space in my cooler .While the packs did keep my food cold for a short period of time, they quickly thawed and became useless. The one positive aspect was that they were durable and didn't leak, but overall, I would not recommend these for any camping or hiking trip..
