These headphones sound very odd and not entirely bad, they're quite warm and wide, the soundstage is fantastic for closed headphones but it's also a minor negative as the vocals sound too wide, The change Final Audio Sonorous III was a VERY strange experience. The instrumental separation is - usually - excellent and the bass is present and very smooth. These are warm sounding headphones and I imagine a lot of people will like them. My problem is that they compare a lot more to the Sony MDR-1AM2 than anything else in this price range, $650 is too much for them, not just for the sound. but design-wise, even with wood, they're not much prettier than the MDR-1AM2.
