Ceiling Light Alternative
This LED is only 1/2 inch thick (overhangs the surface). You need an octagonal box to install without glass. I needed light in a low plaster/batten hallway ceiling where recessed glass wouldn't work. I chose this after using a 4 inch square LED and 6 by 4 feet in the kitchen and loved the effect. The color is set in three levels: 3000K, 4000K and 5000K. This can be done when installed on a light switch (which I did) or you can set the switch to select temperature by quickly flicking the light switch.
