Works like most other semi-permanent hair dyes; Lots of color and pigment!

My hair is a deep dark brown from the roots to about 6 inches, then my hair is bleached. You can see in the attached photos. The darker photo was taken after 4 washes, and the lighter photo was taken in the sun right after dyeing. This semi-permanent did an amazing job coloring my hair a beautiful red/magenta color. It's definitely more crimson than orange-red; The color of the packaging is a big misunderstanding. It's absolutely amazing and I've had tons of compliments on how beautiful the color is and I've been amazed at how long it lasts. Any semi-permanent hair will only last 4-6 weeks if you wash your hair once a week (by last I mean keep it alive). It's highly pigmented, so apply it to all surfaces and wear clothes you don't like. The pigment will really wash away with multiple washes, even on counters and clothes. It had a nice creamy texture and was easy to apply to my hair. I wish it wasn't in a tube (I prefer tubes because sometimes I use as many colors as I used to). In general I liked it. I think it's very similar to One N Only, Manic Panic, Color Intensity etc. My favorites remain Manic Panic and One N Only. I've been using Semi-Permanent for a long time. A few suggestions for those who are having trouble getting flowers. take her hair or stay home. Prep/Color: Make sure to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo right before coloring. You need a shampoo that removes everything from your hair. Cheap wax-free shampoos also work. DO NOT apply conditioner or styling products before coloring. - Divide the hair into many small sections, I usually do about 20 sections and completely drench them with color. - Apply petroleum jelly to the ears, back of the head, shoulders. this way you won't stain your other skin - wear gloves! - Do not paint to the roots; I leave the roots dark so as not to stain the scalp weird colors. - Leave the color on the skin for as long as possible, you can also use a hot hair dryer to really set the color. - After washing off the hair dye, make a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar in a 3: 1 ratio, apply to the hair and rinse; This will absorb any 'loose' dye and ensure that the color doesn't bleed all over the place if your hair later gets wet or rubbed off your clothes or pillows etc. on skin and bathrooms. Preserve your semi-permanent colour: - Wash as little as possible. I usually wash my hair once a week and use dry shampoo in between. - Wash with as cold water as you can handle. - Use a good deep conditioning hair mask to keep your hair shiny and smooth. - Be prepared to repeat the whole process. . Dyeing process monthly if you really want to keep the vibrant coloring of your hair.
