I bought a wine cork from 2 packs. I figured these wine bottle stoppers were just temporary closures to keep wine residue from becoming airborne. These little wine bottle preservatives turned out to be something more. The bell body of the wine cork is made of blued stainless steel, which gives the cork an elegant look. The metal bell is also quite thick and durable, giving it a premium feel. The actual rubber plug is in the socket. When you squeeze the lever on top of the bell, the rubber stopper inside the bell expands and blocks the neck of the bottle. The rubber stopper closes the bottle neck well, you can use it to lift the whole bottle without any problems. This is really a great gadget!
