Welcome to the world of exaggeration! Totally Bamboo Revitalizing Food Grade Mineral Oil for bamboo and wooden cutting boards is just used mineral oil. Oh, they use that term in their labeling, but I just found the name on the bottle a little pretentious. I use mineral oil on cutting boards and wooden utensils, so I'm familiar with that. It's a high quality mineral oil and it works great on my wood cookware. I'm glad I ordered it. My only complaint about this oil is how it has been received. It wasn't packaged securely. Came in a pimply envelope. At the top of the bottle, you squeeze one side and it flips over to release the oil. Well, during transport the lid was pushed down slightly and mineral oil spilled out. I knew what was in the envelope before I opened it as it leaked out of the envelope and even ended up on some of my letters! It made a real mess. I suggest they at least seal the top if they decide not to put it in a more secure box! I lost part of the item but not enough to return it. I recommend this mineral oil especially if they find a way to ship it without the mess!
