Unfortunately while my son does love the shark, it’s just not very bright. I bought both my sons light stuffies for the same price but different brands and this one falls a bit short in the light department.Update: The shark has just quit. We’ve only had this for 3 months. My other sons stuffy from a different brand works perfectly and all the color lights work. The shark stopped any color but red and now even the red has quit. So disappointed.

Once you put in the 3 AA batteries (not included) and squeeze the back Fin it gives off Magical Soft Lights in several colors! Just the right amount of light to make a magical lighted space around your child, the batteries are safely deep in the middle of the shark's belly with a protective plastic container, a tiny screw and very Strong Velcro and all surrounded by a Super Soft Plush Shark body, so no problem with lots of hugs from your toddler! I do wish it came in a fancy package for gifting

What can I say, it's a stuffed animal. Very soft and cuddly. Since giving this to my nephew, I've got the song "Baby Shark" on a loop in my head. It's a good thing my nephew is cute as a button singing that song as he carries this LED Blue Shark around with him. This is definitely a recommended item for all adults buying for a small child.

Cute. prefect replacement for a night light. Purchased for 2 year old birthday and was enjoyed by everyone at the party. perfect size for little boy to handle and liked that it had a timer on it

It's really soft but does not come with the three AA batteries required to use it. Weve only had it a couple weeks so I cant speak to the longevity but so far it's a hit. The fun light colors are popular with toddlers and provides a fun night time night light. Sharks are in right now so it's also fun to pair with the baby shark song. It is not machine washable. My toddler had no trouble finding the velcro opening where the batteries are so we are trying to teach her to leave it alone.

My 4 year old loves sleeping with this shark. It gives off quite a bit of light. It doesn't stay on too long so it's not killing the batteries every other day. The only down side to this purchase is that it didn't come with batteries so when he opened it on his birthday from the original packaging, he couldn't see it light up.

I bought one of these for my son who was having trouble being afraid of the dark. He loved it. Used it every night. After a few months it died and we immediately replaced it.Now, only 2.5 months later the SECOND one has died and no longer works. We will not be purchasing any more and will look for something more reliable. Definitely do not buy this product.

It is bright light when working, unfortunately it breaks shortly after it is used. Poorly manufactured. Not worth the headache. Replacement sent and it broke as well. Poorly made.

When we first got this cute shark we loved it! My son couldn’t sleep without it. But it only lasted 3 and 1/2 months! The wires inside the shark broke loose from the button and there is no fixing it. Very disappointed

Very nicely stuffed with a nice plus material, I was hesitant on the battery pack making the toy hard but it's actually still quite soft. The light isn't too bright but in a dark room a good night light for a child. Overall I'm happy with the purchase it seems good across the board.

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson and he absolutely LOVES it! He sleeps with it every night. Excellent gift for an excellent price!

This shark nightlight is so cute! It matches my sons baby shark themed bedroom perfectly. The lights are gentle and not too bright. My two year old loves to hug it.

I wouldn’t buy this again. After trying 2 sets of brand new batteries I still couldn’t get it to work and light up. I bought it for my 6 yr old to sleep in his own room and he kept asking why it didn’t work. I’m returning it and not getting another shipped to me.

Do not buy! Got this for my 5yr old for Christmas and by January 1st it was having issues. It flashes red and won't turn off unless you switch the battery box off. What a waste she stuck in in the closet.
