Oil Thunderbolt Paper

If you don't want canvases to fold into corners, this is an alternative. Spray on the shellac, it dries in a few seconds and can then be used as a fairly strong surface for drawing when glued to the board. It has the appearance of cardboard and is a good choice for notan study pages, color charts, and value sketches. Some artists bind the pages into notebooks after drying. Much cheaper than cheap canvas and easier to store. However, it does not have a rough surface.
