Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ AOC E2243Fwk 21.5-Inch Wide LCD Glossy Black Monitor with 1920X1080 Resolution by Abdurahman Colvin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best Hit for the Dollar!

Pros: Super slim, big screen, light weight, low cost, supports composite sync (sync on green), bright and colorful image compared to the CRT I use, 1080p text is crisp, no dead pixels. I am very happy with this monitor. Cons: 1. No DVI cable is included. I went all over town looking and nobody had. So I got one here at Revain for about $6. No big deal.2. Selecting the source on the screen doesn't work for me. For example, my computer is connected to it via DVI, while my Xbox (not 360) is connected via VGA. Well if I decide to run an Xbox for any Galaxian I have to set my computer to turn off the monitor after 1 minute and then wait a minute for the computer to stop sending a signal to the monitor. In this case, the monitor decides to switch to the signal on the VGA connector. I've tried switching from DVI to VGA in the OSD but it only goes black for a second and then reverts back to DVI. It also doesn't matter as I have a workaround.3. The plastic case is a bit soft. If I accidentally hit the screen, it creaks like I'm breaking it or something. This is to be expected given the slim design. never mind I just need to be less clumsy.4. The touch buttons could be a bit more responsive, but that doesn't hurt either. Overall, I'm happy with this monitor, but overall, my cons led me to give it one star. Would I buy it if I could return? Oh yeah! Will I recommend it? Damned! Other thoughts: I didn't actually buy this monitor here. I found it on Wally World's website for $115, but figured, being an avid review reader myself, I'd give something away to those who want to do a lot of research before buying.
