Works but the specs are deceptive
I bought this because the manual says it can go up to 500 watts into 4 ohms. So I installed it and connected a multimeter to the output. The amp (in my car) put out about 380 watts into 4 ohms. And after about 30 minutes of play, the thing gets really hot. Too hot to touch. Also the EQ curve on the bass boost is terrible. It's very distorted. While the amp works, it probably won't satisfy many people who want decent performance from their subwoofer. I'm buying another amp and trying to sell this one.
