Too small and uncomfortable for me, the opening is quite narrow and you have to roll the top too many times to get to the velcro which makes it very small . I would prefer a square bag hanging from a belt with pleats at the bottom, the bottom of this bag is like an origami boat which makes it fall forward and bulge too much, that bothers me. With my phone, protein bar, and keys in this belt, I can zip it up, but I can't roll it up and velcro it. It's a good harness if you're only going to put small things in it, but if you're kayaking for a few hours or hiking a full day, it's too small and difficult to access. I think most people will also want to put away their wallet and it won't fit, some bills and your ID will fit. I don't like that I have to endure everything to get to this or that object, when the phone rings I forget about it. It's too small to use for my purposes and I don't like the shape of the origami boat.
