Review on 🐠 Enhance Your Coral Reef Marine Fish Tank with VIPARSPECTRA Timer Control Dimmable LED Aquarium Light - Full Spectrum Power for LPS/SPS Growth by Christin Barajas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

so i removed it slightly (this is a vinyl sticker)

I bought two of these to cover my 36 inch tank. The sticker on the front of the case is a bit sticky so I removed it (it's a vinyl sticker). reservoir is good. I moved my lights 5 inches from the waterline. My aquarium is 24 inches, with a CH1/CH2 intensity of 45% (blue/white) I got the following PAR values: Water level (1 inch underwater): 425 - 710 - 4304 inches: 400 - 702 - 4128 " : 340 -- 630 -- 32512" : 290 -- 530 -- 27016": 210 -- 405 -- 19520": 130 -- 322 -- 119 PAR illuminance for SPS . @45% you have a lot of wiggle room if you have a deeper tank. I'm happy with these levels so I'll leave them here and hopefully extend the life of the LEDs as they run slower. 6/2018 - It's been a few years since I posted this review and decided to leave an update. PAR measurements were made using the apogee parameter. I ended up replacing the lights with a 36" ATI light with 6 T5 bulbs and sold the lights. . One annoyance was that the clocks were never synchronized; Setting a timer for both devices at the same time causes one to eventually drift off the other until they turn off for a few minutes about a month later. With the 36" variant available now, I would go for it, but that wasn't available at the time. They worked quite well when I had them. YMMV channel.
