Haven't swum yet but the suite was good value, cute and average quality. It has been worn at home and has already been washed twice, after washing it does not fade and does not itch. We tried the 4T and 5T and would have kept the 5T if the strap was adjustable, but it was a little loose and the 4T was a little tight. Since shorts can be thrown on for swimming, we left the 4T hoping they would fit all season. The kid usually wears 4T in pants and 5T in shirts.
