This bandage is made from soft stretch fabric with a subtly embossed star pattern throughout, including a durable, translucent waist band cover and its reinforced edges as well relatively narrow lower chords. Overall, it makes a very well-made impression and makes a robust impression. Speaking of straps, the bottom straps are pushed further forward than is typical for this type of product - far enough forward to meet the reinforced edges. Pockets where they are attached to the belt. This is neither good nor bad; It's just different and therefore the back configuration is a bit more open than usual with a sports harness. The size chart indicates that size Large fits waists between 30.7 and 33.9 inches. My approximately 34-inch waist is just above the upper limit; nevertheless it fits a little loosely. Extra Large would be like Muumuu to me. If I had to rebuild I would downsize to medium because I prefer a tighter fit. The contoured pouch is appropriately sized and shaped to carry the load, so to speak, and configured to contain any dangling appendages in that area without squeezing them if you get me (YMMV of course). Overall, the design, materials and quality of this sport band is very important to me, hence it deserves my enthusiastic 5 star rating.
