Review on Rectangular Headlight Headlamp Wrangler Replacement by Mike Swanson

(Update 19th September - 20 months) still works great! I see the product photos now have before and after photos of me haha. They replaced hella h4, DOT cases, not eco codes in Cherokee. These lights are far superior in performance. The light is white and quite bright. The low beams don't shine very far, they shine very wide (easily 20 feet from the road on either side of a dual carriageway with a center turn lane), which is very nice. Beam. The low beam stays on while the high beam gives a great pattern. There is no clear clipping at the top of the light pattern as I expected but I am very happy with the overall improvement and performance so far (1 day). Don't expect to install them and have the same lighting as in modern cars. Three shortcomings: 1. Headlights are dimly lit even if they are not on while the jeep is driving. I'll have to see how to fix this.2. My fog lights stopped working after installing these lights. They are on a separate switch but would only work if the headlights were on first, now it's over. They were installed by the previous owner, so there may be installation problems. I'll probably just delete them now anyway since I don't need them like I used to.3. The lenses are made of plastic. I knew this was happening, but I still wish they were made of glass. Although the cases are made of metal. I also thought they were plastic. The attached pictures show the old near, the new near and the new far beam. The hotspot seems to be much more visible in the photos than in real life.
