After trying other shutter releases that claim to work with the MI MarkII, the Progo shutter release actually works with the camera. Others that claimed to work were similar to the Progo but had the wrong connectors and were not compatible with the MI MarkII. The Progo is well made, has a long cord and like all Progo products I've used in the past, does what it says on the tin. I don't use this with autofocus so I can't rate how it performs with this device. I work great with single exposure. At this price you will not find a better base cable for the Oly OM DE MI MarkII.
