On "poppies" since 2022, the previous Macbook Pro Retina 2022 honestly "plowed" for almost 6 years, but had to be changed because of the batteries that began to die and a weak video core. I took the "basic" model 13 without a touchbar. In summary: a great working tool. For some reason, "poppies" are considered the prerogative of "pontorez" or programmers, but they are great for those who work with text and the Internet: journalists, web designers, etc. After "Retina" it is impossible to work on a "Windows" beech: the resolution is either too low or too large, fonts constantly float, and "Win 10" turns out to be a less customizable system than Mac OS, about the advantages of which you can write a separate review (one the hotkey system is worth it!). It will not work to play on the "poppy", even what is going on is stupidly inconvenient, but such a goal was not set for him either. But on the train with his wife, they watched a couple of films with pleasure, which ate only 30 percent of the charge in 4 hours! Connecting peripherals: I use a macbook in conjunction with an LG 27ud88 monitor, which supports video output via type-c and simultaneously charges the computer, very convenient. I bought a bluetooth mouse without any problems, Microsoft, everything works, it does not fall off anywhere. An external hard drive is connected to the Mac once every six months through an adapter for 100. In general, there are enough ports, but sometimes you want one more - on the right. Connect charging from two sides - very convenient and cool. Well, the main "magic" of Apple: here you work with something, then just close the laptop, go somewhere, open it - and continue to work from the same place. At the same time, you can be sure that the computer in the bag will not freeze, will not overheat, and its charge will not leak in an unknown direction. It just works, as Steve Jobs said. As a result: if you work on a computer a LOT, do not do 3D modeling and complex graphics (it won’t pull it) and can afford a high-quality working tool - TAKE IT. This is a great investment in your productivity that will definitely pay off.
